01 — About me

From building structures to building adoption.

I'm a workflow, adoption and product-adjacent specialist with a chartered structural engineering background. I map how teams really work, then design workflows they'll actually keep.

ICE Chartered 2024 Northern UK Automation Lead BHoM Contributor 8+ years delivery

Eight years delivering large-scale projects — stadiums like Everton FC, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City, and complex structures across the UK, US and Middle East. But the problems that kept pulling me in weren't structural. They were digital: teams drowning in repetitive tasks, brilliant tools nobody used, workflows held together by habit rather than design.

So I made that my job. As Northern UK Automation Lead at Buro Happold I run user engagement across the whole software development cycle — market research, user testing, QA, launch, sustained adoption. I lead technology kick-offs on every project in the region, built a user-centric adoption framework for the open-source BHoM platform, and initiated a UK-wide user experience survey coordinating five regional leads to turn user pain into a prioritised roadmap. I'm now taking on the India region and the global user experience framework too.

User research

UK wide user experience analysis

Lead UK wide user survey, analyse results and create UI development roadmap.

Understand user painpoint and maximise development ROI.
Product & UI

BHoM Structure Tool UI/UX Lead

Lead UI development on app interface, removing user barriers to BHoM functionality.

Most users are not computational specialists — a furnished interface is the adoption gateway.
User adoption

BHoM Adoption Framework

Bridging developers and users: user testing at ideation, engagement at QA, marketing and enablement at launch.

Turned rollouts into sustained adoption, not one-off launches.
